Expertise Summary.
I am a pragmatic engineer with proven cross discipline experience. I have specialist knowledge and experience with Instrumentation and Control, Honeywell TPS/TDC2000/3000 and networks. Competent with Mechanical and Electrical engineering. I have a proven record of effectively utilising my instrument, control, TPS/TDC3000 and process knowledge in combination, to reduce engineering times and costs by greatly reducing the need for instrument, control and process engineers input into the design and implementation activities. My experience that is primarily within the oil and gas industries is transportable to other industries.
Technical Management.
Although my primary role is within design, implementation and commissioning for the manufacturer or end user. My previous management training and experience of successfully manage cross discipline departments and projects in value up to US$ 40 million and focusing upon departmental or project goals, enforcing procedures to maintain control and quality, enable me to detach from personal emotions whilst persuasively negotiating very effectively on both a monetary and technical basis.

Contract position located in Shanghai, Peoples Republic of China.
Responsibilities:
- To assist the client and
resolve all technical problems during the first year of operation
to ensure the guarantee bond would be released by the client.
- To develop operation and
maintenance procedures.
- To introduce a Total Quality
Management culture into the maintenance sections.

Contract position: Located in Shanghai China reporting directly to the board at the Milan (Italy) head office for the construction and commissioning of 3 x British Gas CRG Series A plants and associated utilities. Project responsibility US$ 40 million.
Responsibilities:
- To manage the site staff, consisting
of employed staff, local and vendor contractors.
- To provide technical support and innovation
to complete construction to deadlines and within budget, to ensure
contractual stage payments were released to schedule.
- To inspect and accept from the sub-contractors
all aspects of fabrication including package plants, Reformers, Fired
Heaters, Water Treatment, Deairator, MCC and DCS for final clients
acceptance.
- To ensure all contractual obligations were honoured.
Achievements:
- Construction and commissioning completion to clients schedule and specification.
Upon construction and commissioning completion, the client Shanghai Municipal Gas Company requested I remained on site to assist with operations.

Responsibilities:
- To achieve client acceptance of TDC3000,
DCS system, PLC systems, Field Instrumentation, Electrical and reference
earthing, High Voltage, MCC and field electrical systems.
- To advise and supervise the building
construction, to advise on the building internal design with regard
to functionality and safety, supervise the construction, HVAC installations,
raised floors etc.
- Supervise employed staff, local and vendor
contractors for the installation, functional tests and resolve technical
problems of the above equipment.

with design documentation.

the maintenance and development of the DCS Honeywell TDC3000, PLC
